Beyond the Proof Scholarship

The Beyond the Proof Scholarship was established to assist incoming and current college undergraduates who are pursuing a degree in any S.T.E.M. related field. We prioritize students who demonstrate a commitment/passion to mentoring or uplifting the next generation.

Eligibility:

Be an incoming or current college undergraduate student
Must be enrolled full time
Be pursuing or planning to pursue an area of study in any S.T.E.M. related fields
Have a minimum grade point average of 2.5 on a 4.0 scale

Requirements:

Two short essays

- What are your career aspirations? (Minimum 250 characters/ Maximum 400 words )
- What does it mean to be a role model in your community and how have you used your influence to uplift/guide the younger generation? (Minimum 250 characters/ Maximum 400 words )
Resume:
- Highlighting academic achievements, extracurricular involvement, volunteer work, and leadership experience

Selection of Recipients

Scholarship recipients are selected on the basis of:

Academic Performance
Financial Need
Demonstrated a commitment/passion for empowering the next generation and Mentoring others
Scholarship essays: Quality and depth of essays
Resume
